SLOVENIA -- Duke University junior Celine Boutier and her France squad collected 4.50 to 2.50 victory over Finland in the title match of the European Ladies Amateur Team Championship Saturday at the Golf and Country Club Diners Ljubljana in Slovenia.

On its way to the final, France defeated England, 4.00-3.00, in the semifinals and Spain, 5.00-2.00, in the quarterfinals.

Boutier, who is a product of Montrouge, France, collected a 6-0 record in match play during the three contests.  In Sunday’s final versus Finland, the reigning WGCA National Player of the Year totaled a 6&5 win along with Shannon Aubert against Matilda Castren and Marika Voss.  Boutier also added a 3&1 victory over Sanna Nuutinen to help clinch the win for France.
