Full name is Casey Jo Martinez ... born on September 3, 1996 in Towson, Md. ... daughter of Jacen and Debbie Martinez and Wendy and Matt Kwiatkowski ... has four brothers, Tyler Martinez (13), Ryan Martinez (11), AJ Kwiatkowski (13) and Wyatt Kwiatkowski (11) and two sisters, Tessa Kwiatkowski (9) and Maggie Kwiatkowski (7) ... her grandfather, Tippy Martinez, played professional baseball for 14 seasons (1974-88) and selected to the American League All-Star Team in 1983 … her father, Jacen, played baseball at Towson (1991-92) and went on to play minor league baseball in the Orioles and Mets organization … her mother, Wendy, was a gymnast at Towson (1989-92) … her aunt, Courtney Martinez Connor was a 2001 All-America at Maryland in lacrosse, while leading the Terps to five NCAA titles … Connor was the 2001 NCAA Championship MVP and was a four-time All-ACC selection … a Dean’s List selection all four years and first ballad Cum Laude inductee at McDonogh School.
