2017-18: Recorded the third-fastest 500 freestyle mark in school history at the ACC Championships (4:24.65) ... Also moved into the top 10 all-time at Duke in the 400 individual medley (3:55.51) ... Team captain … At the program’s end-of-year awards banquet, honored with a Blue Devil Award, an all-encompassing honor that celebrates excellence and leadership in the pool, in the classroom and in the community … Over the summer, participated in the Rubenstein-Bing Student-Athlete Civic Engagement Program, a collaborative service initiative between Duke and Stanford ... 2016-17: Clocked the team's third-fastest 1,000-yard freestyle mark of the year (9:26.21) as a mile split at the Nike Invitational ... Finished fifth overall in that mile performance and was 10th at the 200-yard distance ... 4:29.96 mark in the 500 freestyle placed him eighth on Duke's all-time performance list in that event.
2015-16: Took sixth in the conference in the mile, clocking the second-fastest time in program history and surpassing the NCAA provisional standard at 15:09.94 ... His 1,000-yard split of 9:10.99 in that race also ranked second on Duke's all-time performance list ... Won the 200 and 500 freestyle events against Old Dominion and William & Mary (11/7) ... First to the wall in the 500 and 1,000 freestyle in his collegiate debut against Pitt (10/3).
