2017-18: Competed in six races during the fall of her freshman campaign, securing a top-two finish for the Blue Devils in each of the races she ran … made her collegiate debut in spectacular fashion, earning a first-place overall finish in the Bull City Classic (9/1) with a 4K time of 13:47 to help Duke earn a first-place shutout victory … eclipsed a personal-best time in the Adidas XC Invitational (9/15) with a 5K time of 17:07.3 to earn a fourth-place overall finish as part of Duke’s second-place team finish … posted a second-place finish for the Blue Devils in the Paul Short Invitational (9/29) with a 6K time of 20:35 as the Blue Devils finished seventh among 42 teams … recorded a 6K time of 20:49.8 at the Pre Nationals (10/14) as the first Blue Devil to cross the finish line, helping Duke finish 14th in the 43-team competition … notched a personal-best time in the ACC Championships (10/27) with a 6K time of 20:35.0 to help the Blue Devils finish seventh overall … posted a 6K time of 21:10.6 in the NCAA Southeast Regional Championships (11/10) as part of Duke’s 10th place team finish among 37 teams to close out the fall season.
Prior to Duke: Lettered all four years under Melissa Vandett at Melbourne Catholic Central High School in Melbourne, Florida…Was a 2017 New Balance Track and Field Nationals All-American in the 5,000m, placing in sixth at the meet…Also competed in the 5,000m at the 2016 edition of the New Balance Track and Field Nationals...Earned Cross Country State Medals in both 2015 and 2016 and was District Champion both years…Placed third in the 3,200m in both the 2016 and 2017 State Track and Field meet as well as medaling in the 1,600 in 2017…Two time District Champion in both the 1,600m and the 3,200m…Valedictorian of her high school class…President of the Student Council for the 2016-17 school year…Member of the National Honor Society, Rho Kappa Honor Society, and the Spanish Honor Society as well as Secretary of the Science National Honor Society.
