STILLWATER, Okla. – The No. 2 seeded Duke men's golf team defeated the No. 7 seeded Texas Longhorns 3-2 at the par-72, 7,460-yard Karsten Creek course to advance to the semifinals of the NCAA Championships for the second time in program history.
Coming down to the final hole, senior Jake Shuman made eagle from 25 feet out to defeat the No. 1 amateur in the world, Doug Ghim.
The Blue Devils will face No. 6 seed Alabama in the semifinals beginning at 1:30 p.m..
