CAMBRIDGE, Mass. –Seven former Blue Devils suited up in the Major League Lacrosse All-Star game last night as the MLL All-Stars overcame a 14-9 fourth-quarter deficit to win 15-14 in overtime. Five Blue Devils donned the Team USA jersey and two were MLL All-Stars.

Ned Crotty, Matt Danowski, Will Haus, Myles Jones and Jordan Wolf wore the red, white and blue, while Justin Guterding and Michael Manley were a part of the winning all-star squad.

Wolf paced the group with two goals and an assist, while Danowski and Crotty both had an assist in the effort. Guterding tossed out one assist, while Manley sparked the 5-0 fourth-quarter run with an unassisted goal.

The All-Star game was the final tune-up for Team USA before it heads to Israel for the 2018 FIL World Championship July 8. The tournament runs July 12-21. Crotty will be making his third appearance for the United States at the world championships, while Danowski and Wolf will hit the field for the first time in their careers.

The U.S. opens world championship play on Thursday, July 12 against the Iroquois Nationals and the event runs through July 21. The majority of U.S. games will be aired on ESPN2 or ESPNU. Click here to see the complete U.S. team schedule from Israel.
