2018 (Softball) - Freshman (Stats): Appeared in 51 games, starting in 41 contests with 24 coming in the outfield and 14 at second base … Finished the season with two hits, seven runs scored and drew two walks and stole a pair of bases … Recorded her first hit in the Blue Devils' first ACC contest in program history, tallying a single at North Carolina on March 9 … Went 1-for-2 against Campbell (May 6) in the final regular season contest of Duke's inaugural campaign.

High School/Travel Ball: A standout for four seasons with head coach Jim Portese and the Liberty High School Patriots … named First Team All-Southeast Division in 2015 … tabbed All-Sunrise Team in 2016 and 2017 … led the Patriots to playoff appearances in all four seasons, winning a league championship in 2015 and a regional runner-up finish in 2016 … hit above .300 all four seasons for the Patriots, including a scorching .378 her junior year and .366 her senior campaign … with her help, the Patriots captured 20-plus wins in 2016 and 2017 … saw action on two travel ball squads over her career, playing for head coach Rick Christopher and the Girl Sox from 2011-12 and coaches Christopher and Gordie Mark from 2012-17 with the Lil’ Rebels … captured eight total championships in her career: ASA 14U Southwest Showdown, USA 14U Gift 4 Kids, ASA 14U Winter Classic, ASA 14U Nevada State (back-to-back), ASA 16U Southwest Showdown, ASA 16U Winter Classic and ASA 16U Valentine’s Day Blast … made four appearances in the PGF Nationals (2013-16) … finished in third place out of 48 teams in the ASA 16U Champions Cup … earned a fifth-place showing at the ASA/USA National Championships (121-team bracket) … ranked No. 16 nationally by … made an appearance in the 2016 TSC Nationals … also earned an appearance in the 2016 USSSA Elite Select Nationals … was also a member of the varsity volleyball and bowling squads … competed for the LHS volleyball program her final three years of high school as an outside hitter/opposite … was a three-year member of the bowling team and was the team’s anchor (last bowler) … the team qualified for the state championships all three years (2015-17), while she earned individual berths in 2016 and 2017 … LHS captured the 2017 Bowling State Championship … named the Valedictorian of her class, showcasing her domination in the classroom … member of the Nevada All-State Academic Team from 2013-17 and was named a scholar-athlete in the same span … earned High Honors, along with an Advanced Honors Diploma … was also an Advanced Placement Scholar.


Personal: Born Ashleigh Camryn Rodriguez (goes by Cash) in Hoffman Estates, Ill., on Feb. 25, 1999 ... daughter of Vidal and Kathryn Rodriguez … has a brother, Alston Rodriguez … is extremely musically inclined … learned to play the classical, acoustic and electric guitars at age six … played in a band at a music school at age seven, where she picked up drums … recorded a song in a recording studio with her band at age eight and performed it on Freemont Street in downtown Las Vegas … later learned how to play the stand-up bass and electric bass … can do the 3x3, 4x4 and 5x5 Rubik’s cubes … plans to major in chemistry and plans to pursue a career as a pharmacist.
