Bob Pascal earned first-team All-America honors as a halfback in 1955. He led the Blue Devils in rushing two seasons in a row, and was named MVP of the 1955 Duke team.
He was also a two-time first team All-ACC selection, becoming the first player in Duke history to accomplish such a feat.
A three-time letterman, Duke teams compiled a 20-8-3 record during his tenure, a perfect three-year 12-0 mark in ACC play, and the 1954 ACC Championship. His junior season the Blue Devils captured the Orange Bowl crown with a 34-7 victory over Nebraska. The Blue Devils also finished all three of those seasons ranked in the nation's top 20.
