DURHAM, N.C. – Duke University will enshrine five new members into the school’s Athletics Hall of Fame on Friday, September 9. Slated for induction are Ben Bennett (football), Jenny Chuasiriporn (golf), Bobby Hurley (basketball), Mike Krzyzewski (coach) and Vanessa Webb (tennis).

Today’s video feature is on Bobby Hurley. A native of Jersey City, N.J., Hurley guided Duke to a pair of national championships during his four-year (1990-93) career with the men’s basketball program. Playing in 140 career games, he amassed career totals of 1,731 points, 1,076 assists, 306 rebounds and 202 steals, with the assist total continuing to rank first all-time in NCAA history. Hurley, who helped the Blue Devils to a four-year record of 119-26 (.821) with three Final Four berths, was a two-time All-America selection (1992-93), three-time All-ACC pick (1991-92-93), two-time NCAA All-Final Four honoree (1991-92) and the Most Outstanding Player of the 1992 NCAA Final Four. The seventh overall selection in the 1993 NBA Draft, Hurley had a five-year professional career with Sacramento and Vancouver.

Tickets to the Duke Athletics Hall of Fame induction ceremony in Cameron Indoor Stadium are available to the public online at www.GoDuke.com/tickets or by calling the Duke Athletics Ticket Office at 919-681-2583.

Tickets are $55 each and include the cocktail reception, dinner and program beginning at 5:30 p.m.  A program-only admission is available for $15.
