Last year, Boone completed 30-of-53 (.566) passes for 298 yards with one touchdown and one interception while rushing 44 times for 129 yards and four touchdowns.
The Monroe, N.C., product played a season-high 32 snaps at North Carolina in the season finale, hitting on 12-of-20 (.600) throws for 111 yards with one touchdown and one interception. Also versus the Tar Heels, Boone rushed for a season-best 41 yards on seven attempts and caught a 21-yard pass from Jamison Crowder.
