DURHAM, N.C. - Duke University rising junior Alejandra Cangrejo will play in the 110th North & South Amateur Championship from July 17-21, which will be played at the famed Pinehurst No. 2 and No. 8 courses in Pinehurst, N.C.

The tournament will feature three rounds of stroke play with a 36-hole cut to the low 60 golfers and ties.  Following the third round of stroke play, the low 16 golfers will advance to match play, which will start on July 19.  The round of 16 and quarterfinals of match play will be held on July 20 and the final two rounds on July 21.  All stroke play action will take place on Pinehurst No. 8 and then moved to Pinehurst No. 2 for match play. 

Cangrejo, who is a native of Bogota, Colombia, advanced to the second round of match play last year in Pinehurst.  She is coming off a sophomore season at Duke where she had two top five and three top 20 finishes, including a tied for second placement at the ACC Championship with rounds of 69, 75 and 72 for a total of 216.
