From the Holliday Family
First and foremost, we would like to thank everyone -- especially our family members and dearest friends -- for their amazing support over the past two-plus months. Through thoughts and prayers from so many wonderful people, we know that Blair has gained tremendous strength to endure his daily trials, and we are extremely grateful.
This journey has taken our family down paths we never would have imagined, and without the love and sustenance from so many individuals and groups, we would not have survived. Without question, we have learned the magnitude and power of invocation!
From the Simi Valley Vikings youth football program to the Buckley School and Duke University, to the people with the football programs at North Carolina State University and the University of North Carolina, to the incredible personnel at both UNC Hospitals and the Shepherd Center, to the representatives at the NCAA and our legal counsel, Bob Idol and Eddie Falcone, to so many old and new friends alike, we are forever appreciative for the efforts put forth to assist us during this time.
In this ever-changing and fast-paced world of ours, we encourage everyone to use extreme caution and safety when in transit, whether in an automobile, watercraft or other means. Together, we can save lives.
Today is a special day for Blair. Returning to Duke to share cherished moments with his teammates and friends has been a goal of his for several weeks. While Blair has made significant progress with his rehabilitation, we have many challenges ahead. Thank you for your continued support.
