GoDuke.com: What has been your favorite class at Duke?
Diego Bencomo: My favorite class was a psychology on alcohol and drugs in society class.
GoDuke.com: What has been your proudest moment at Duke?
DB: Making it to the round of 12 at NCAAs.
GoDuke.com: What is your favorite place to study on campus?
DB: The reading room in Bostock Library.
GoDuke.com: If you won the lottery what would be the first thing you would do?
DB: I would probably travel the world. My first choice would be Rome.
GoDuke.com: What did you want to be when you were a child?
DB: A firefighter.
GoDuke.com: When did you start wrestling? What is one of your earliest memories?
DB: I started wrestling in sixth grade. One of my first memories that stuck with me was when I went to state in Illinois. It was the first time I had gone it was memorable because I got really motivated after that.
GoDuke.com: What advice would you give freshmen wrestlers at Duke?
DB: Come to Duke and live your life. Focus on academics and wrestling and try not to get too distracted with all of the other stuff.
GoDuke.com: What is one thing that always puts you in a good mood?
DB: Food.
GoDuke.com: What is your favorite food?
DB: Arroz con leche. I don't know the name of it in English. It's a dessert. It's almost like rice pudding with very sweet milk and cinnamon.
