HIGH POINT, N.C. – The Duke Track and Field team began the outdoor season with a sweep of the discus at the HPU Vertklasse Meeting Friday afternoon, March 22 in High Point, N.C.
Senior Austin Gamble had the best throw of the day in the men’s discus with a mark of 177-4 (54.07). Junior Erica Brand followed his lead with a top throw of 165-9 (50.53) to win the women’s division.
