• Duke heads into Saturday against Harvard with a five-game win streak.
• The Blue Devils have played five games over the past 15 days, culminating with a 19-7 win over Georgetown.

With a dominating 19-7 victory over Georgetown Saturday afternoon, the Blue Devils stretched their win streak to five games ... After starting the season 2-4, Duke has picked up five wins in a span of 15 days to improve to 7-4 overall and climb to No. 10 in the USILA Coaches rankings ...  Bucknell had its seven-game win streak stopped Tuesday leaving the Blue Devils with the nation’s longest win streak.

SCOUTING HARVARD
Harvard heads into the weekend with a 4-4 overall record after falling to Albany 16-7 in a midweek contest ... The Crimson owns wins over Holy Cross, Georgetown, Bryant and Dartmouth, while two of the four losses have come against teams currently ranked in the top 20 ... Devin Dwyer leads the offense with 10 goals and 11 assists for 21 points ... Peter Schwartz owns 20 points (9g, 11a) and Alex White and Daniel Eipp also have double digit points with 17 and 10, respectively ... Rick Mole handles the majority of the faceoffs and is 60-of-112 (.536) ... Gabriel Mendola is the top ground ball man with 34 to go with his 24 faceoff victories ... Robert Duvnjak is tops with 11 caused turnovers and Harry Krieger anchors the defense with a 9.14 goals against average and a .564 save percentage.

DIMARIA RETURNS TO HIS CRIMSON ROOTS
Redshirt senior and Duke graduate student Dan DiMaria returns to his alma mater this weekend ... DiMaria joined the Blue Devils for his final year of eligibility after missing last season at Harvard due to injury ... The Dix Hills, N.Y., native played in 43 games for the Crimson ... At Duke, the defenseman has played in all 11 games with one start ... A major part of the man-down defense he, has eight ground balls and four caused turnovers ... DiMaria is enrolled in the Master of Management Studies program at Duke’s Fuqua School of Business, a one year master’s program.

LAST TIME WE MET
Duke outscored Harvard 7-4 in the second half to earn the 11-8 win at Koskinen Stadium over the Crimson ... Tied 4-4 after two quarters, the Blue Devils registered seven straight goals over a span of 14:26 in the third quarter to stretch the lead to 11-4 ... Duke kept the Crimson off the scoreboard for 18 minutes overall to ice the victory ... Christian Walsh and Jordan Wolf both had two goals and two assists, while Josh Dionne had a hat trick ... Mike Rock played in goal, making 12 saves.

DUKE IN THE MONTH OF MARCH 
Duke is 198-122 all-time in the month of March and 41-9 under head coach John Danowski in the third month ... The Blue Devils have gone unbeaten in the month of March four times overall and once since 2007.

DUKE OFFENSE PICKING UP STEAM
After starting the year 2-4, Duke has won five straight, including two over then-top 10 opponents ... The Blue Devils have outscored their opponents 70-38 in the five games and are shooting .350 percent in that stretch ... Rookie Case Matheis is starting to hit his stride at attack with 11 goals and seven assists, while junior Jordan Wolf maintains his pace with 22 points from 14 goals and eight assists.

D STORY BEHIND THE STREAK
Duke, a winner of five straight, has clamped down defensively during the streak ... The Blue Devils are allowing just 7.60 goals per game in the stretch, compared to 11.50 in the first six outings ... Duke has allowed 10-plus goals only once in the past five outings ... Junior Brendan Fowler has upped his game even more, winning 67 percent of his faceoffs after sporting a .597 win percentage in his first six games ... He also has 50 ground balls in that span to bring his total to 111 for the season ... Duke’s defense is holding opponents to just .239 shot percentage during the win streak, an improvement over a .327 shot percentage in the opening six games.

COMPARING DUKE IN 2012 AND 2013
Through 11 games, Duke is in front in many of the statistical categories at the same time a year ago ... Duke is averaging one goal more per game this season and is 23 percent better on man-up offense and clearing at a slightly higher rate, 86.7 percent compared to 80.9 percent.

AGAINST UNRANKED OPPONENTS
Since 2005, Duke is 47-3 against unranked opponents ... The Blue Devils’ losses to unranked foes all came against Ivy League schools ... The first was a 9-6 setback against Harvard, Feb. 22, 2009 and the most recent were a 7-3 loss to Pennsylvania, Feb. 26, 2011 and a 14-9 setback to the Quakers this season.

WOLF CLIMBING CAREER POINTS LIST
Wolf’s 45 points this season have pushed him to 18th on the Duke career scoring chart with 161 points ... He is 37 points out of the top 10 ... In 51 career games, he has amassed 161 career points from 92 goals and 69 assists ... He tallied 51 points in his rookie season and had 65 points his sophomore campaign.

WALSH JOINS CENTURY CLUB
Junior Christian Walsh became the 40th Blue Devil to reach the 100 career points mark with a pair of assists in the win over Georgetown ... With 64 goals and 37 assists, Walsh joins Jordan Wolf as current players on the Duke list.

WOLF NEARING 100 CAREER GOALS MARK
Wolf’s 92 career goals leave him eight shy of becoming the 15th Duke player to register 100 career goals ... The last Blue Devil to reach the mark was Zach Howell in 2011 with 134 for his career ... Zack Greer holds the career record with 206, the lone Blue Devil to surpass the 200-goal mark.

TURRI BETWEEN THE PIPES
Since moving into the starting lineup in goal, sophomore Kyle Turri has been outstanding ... Taking over for an injured Dan Wigrizer, Turri is 5-0 and averaging nine saves per game and owns a 7.46 goals against average and a .562 save percentage ... He made a career-high 15 saves in the 12-4 win over Towson to help him earn his first ACC Defensive Player of the Week honor.

OFFIT PROVIDING OFFENSE
Senior captain Josh Offit has been outstanding this season for the Blue Devils with 15 goals and five assists for 20 points ... His 15 tallies are four more than his total of 11 in 20 games last season, while the 20 points match his 2012 total ... In Duke’s wins over Loyola and North Carolina, the Bethesda, Md., native had a pair of crucial fourth-quarter goals to help Duke earn the upsets ... Overall this season, eight of his 15 goals have come in the second half and four of those have been in the final 10 minutes of the game ... Offit has six games with two goals this season after compiling 10 multiple-goal games over the previous three seasons combined. 

FOWLER LEADS FACEOFF GAME
Junior Brendan Fowler has been outstanding at the X in his first season as the full-time draw man ... Fowler has won at least 10 draws in 10 of 11 games this season and won 74 percent of the restarts against No. 6 North Carolina ... He owns a 62.9 percent success rate at the draw.

FOWLER LEADS GROUND BALL GAME
In addition to winning 14.8 faceoffs per game, Fowler is averaging 10.1 ground balls per game to rank second nationally ... The Wantagh, N.Y. native picked up a career-high 13 ground balls versus North Carolina and Marist.

DUPREY MANNING THE DEFENSE
Junior longstick midfielder Luke Duprey has helped anchor the Duke defense all season ... Against Notre Dame he registered a career-high five turnovers and four ground balls ... The five caused turnovers are the second most by a Blue Devil in a game since the NCAA started tracking the stat in 2010 ... Only Tom Montelli ‘11 had more with six against Sacred Heart in 2010 ... Duprey leads Duke with 24 caused turnovers, ranking second in the ACC and eighth nationally.
