DURHAM, N.C. – Winners of four straight, the Duke baseball team looks to continue that success this week as the Blue Devils welcome Davidson to the Durham Bulls Athletic Park Tuesday at 6 p.m.

The Blue Devil Network is set to provide both a live video stream and a live audio broadcast of Tuesday’s contest. Chris Edwards will call the action, while live stats are also available through GoDuke.com. Fans can also follow updates via @Duke_BASE, the official Twitter account of Duke baseball.

Duke (16-13, 6-6 ACC) brings a season-high four-game win streak into its midweek matchup with Southern Conference opponent Davidson. The Blue Devils went 4-1 over the past week, falling to Campbell before registering a win over North Carolina A&T and an ACC series sweep of Boston College.

The Blue Devils overpowered the Eagles in the series opener, scoring eight runs in the sixth en route to a 13-0 victory. Sophomore Trent Swart was outstanding, tossing seven scoreless innings while allowing just two hits. The Duke lefty struck out six batters to bring his team-leading strikeout total to 40.

For the second straight Saturday, Duke played in an ACC doubleheader as the Blue Devils won both against Boston College to complete the sweep. In game one, senior Jeff Kremer reached base four times, scoring three runs and driving in one. Kremer was 2-for-3 at the plate while junior Matt Berezo also had a pair of hits and drove in two.

With the victory in game one, the Blue Devils gave Chris Pollard his 400th career win as a head coach.

Junior Robert Huber threw the Blue Devils’ first complete game shutout since 2004 in game two Saturday. The Plano, Texas, struck out one but induced 18 fly balls outs while limiting Boston College to three hits. Huber allowed just two runners to reach second and retired the final 13 batters he faced.

Junior Jordan Betts earned ACC Player of the Week honors Monday after hitting .500 with three doubles, a home run, 11 RBI, five runs and six walks this past week. The Wilmington, N.C., native had at least one RBI in all five games and also posted a.609 on-base percentage and a team-best .875 slugging percentage. During his current 11-game hit streak, Betts is hitting .390 with six doubles, two homers and 17 RBI.

Davidson is 8-18 (4-11 SoCon) heading into Tuesday’s contest. Southern Conference foe Elon completed the three-game sweep of the Wildcats Saturday, claiming both ends of a doubleheader by the score of 8-2.

Tuesday’s game marks the 138th meeting between Duke and Davison. The two teams first faced one another in 1902 and have met in every season since 1987. The Blue Devils lead the all-time series 105-30-1. In 2012, Davidson captured a 2-1 victory over Duke in Davidson, N.C. The Blue Devils scored the first run of the game in the fourth on a double steal of second and home, but the Wildcats plated two in the seventh on David Daniels’ RBI single and a bases-loaded wild pitch.

Duke’s next three ACC opponents are all ranked in the top 25 nationally, starting with No. 16 Georgia Tech this coming weekend. The Blue Devils and the Yellow Jackets square off at Jack Coombs Field Friday at 6 p.m., Saturday at 1 p.m., and Sunday at 1 p.m.
