DURHAM, N.C.—Duke University freshman Myles Jones has been selected as the Atlantic Coast Conference Men’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week following his five-point outing at Marquette Sunday. This is the first award for Jones and the sixth weekly honor for the Blue Devils overall.

Jones, a rookie midfielder, turned in a career-high five points from three goals and two assists to help Duke to a 19-3 victory over Marquette in the regular season finale. The three goals were his first career hat trick, while the two assists tied his previous career-best outing. For the year, the Huntington, N.Y., native has 14 goals and five assists for 19 points.

Duke (12-5) enters the NCAA Tournament as the No. 7 overall seed and will host Loyola in the first round. Faceoff is set for Sunday, May 12 at 5:15 p.m. on ESPNU.
