DURHAM, N.C. – Spots are still available at the 2013 Duke women’s lacrosse summer camps, which get underway next month beginning with the Duke Super Elite Camp July 16-18. There are four different camp opportunities for lacrosse players of varying ages to learn the latest tactical aspects of the sport from an outstanding staff consisting of top Division I head and assistant coaches. Duke Super Elite Camp
July 16-18, 2013 – West Campus, Duke University
Ages: Rising 9th to 12th Graders
Cost: $550 Residential/$475 Commuter

The Duke Super Elite Camp is being offered for the serious and advanced young lacrosse player. It is open to rising 9th through 12th graders. This camp will feature an outstanding staff consisting of top Division I head and assistant coaches. Our training sessions will focus on teaching the skills, concepts and game situations that will give you the confidence to make quality decisions on the field and ultimately prepare you to play at the next level. Loads of scrimmage opportunities in small game and full field situations with and against staff will be held each day along with tournament play each evening. The camp also features sessions on Strength & Conditioning, Speed Training, Nutrition and Sports Psychology. Each camper will also receive her own training notebook which will include information about these topics.

Duke Elite Camp
July 22-25, 2013 – West Campus, Duke University
Ages: 9th and 10th Graders
Cost: $550 Residential/$475 Commuter

The Duke Elite Camp is being offered for the young lacrosse player looking to improve her skills. It is geared with special emphasis on preparing intermediate 9th and 10th graders who wish to continue progressing at varsity team level. This camp will feature an outstanding staff consisting of top Division I head and assistant coaches. Our training sessions will focus on teaching the skills, concepts and game situations that will give you the confidence to make quality decisions on the field and ultimately prepare you to play at the next level. Loads of scrimmage opportunities in small game and full field situations with and against staff will be held each day along with tournament play each evening. The camp also features sessions on Strength & Conditioning, Speed Training, Nutrition and Sports Psychology. Each camper will also receive her own training notebook which will include information about these topics.

Blue Devil Camp
July 22-25, 2013 – West Campus, Duke University
Ages: 7th and 8th Graders
Cost: $550 Residential/$475 Commuter

The Blue Devil Camp is being offered for players grades 7 and 8 who want a developmental style camp. The curriculum for this camp is geared towards the middle school player or players who are less experienced or beginners. We will offer an outstanding staff consisting of top Division I college players and coaches who will focus on helping you become the best player you can be. Each day is designed to develop your skills and lacrosse knowledge in an atmosphere that promotes learning, competition and fun. Skills, concepts and game situations will be instructed through drills, small games and team competition.

Junior Blue Devil Day Camp
July 22-25, 2013 – West Campus, Duke University
Ages: 3rd to 8th Graders
Cost: $250 Full Day/$125 Half Day

The Junior Blue Devil Day Camp is being offered for players grades 3-8 who are looking to learn the basics of lacrosse. Full day camp are from 9am-3pm and half day camps are from 9am-12pm. Instruction will be geared towards players who are less experienced and/or beginners. Each day is designed to develop your skills and lacrosse knowledge in an atmosphere that promotes learning, competition and fun. Skills, concepts and game situations will be instructed through drills, small games and team competition. The end goal is to educate players on fundamentals in order to help them become the best player you can be.
