KANNAPOLIS, N.C. -- Senior Austin Cody fired a one-over 72 Sunday in the final round of the Irish Creek Collegiate to lead Duke to a tie for sixth finish at the event. The Blue Devils shot a 297 on the day to cap off the event with a 22-over 874 at The Club at Irish Creek. Cody along with teammates Motin Yeung and Max Greyserman placed in the top 20 of the tournament.

Georgia State captured the team title with a seven-over 859, one shot better than North Florida. Charlotte and Wake Forest finished tied for third with matching 871s (+19) followed by Ohio State (873), Duke (874), Notre Dame (874), Indiana (879), East Carolina (880), Appalachian State (883), Davidson (884), North Carolina (891), Akron (894), Kansas (898), Richmond (899) and UNC Wilmington (904).

MJ Maguire (North Florida) fired a three-under 68 Sunday to claim individual medalist honors with an eight-under 205. Charlie Bull (Akron) and Niall Platt (Notre Dame) tied for second at four-under followed by Thomas Rowland (Charlotte), Clancy Waugh (Wake Forest) and Davin White (Georgia State) in the top five.

Opening up on No. 4, Cody got off to a strong start with birdies on No. 5 and No. 6 to get to two-under early in the round. After suffering four bogeys over the next six holes, he settled in to play his final nine holes at one-under with birdies on No. 13 (par 5) and No. 2 (par 4). Cody wrapped up the tournament tied for 12th with a three-over 216 after recording three straight rounds of 72. He has now finished in the top 20 at the Irish Creek Collegiate three times in his career.

Yeung, a sophomore from Beijing, also finished tied for 12th after carding a four-over 75 Sunday. He closed the day with one birdie, 12 pars and five bogeys en route to his team-leading fourth top 20 finish of the season.

Greyserman, competing in the event as an individual, recorded a one-over 72 to finish 20th overall with a five-over 218. The freshman from Short Hills, N.J. opened the day with pars on No. 17 and No. 18 before dropping a stroke with a bogey on No. 1. He countered with four straight pars and a birdie on the par 5 sixth hole to get back to even-par. Greyserman had a bogey on No. 11 but regained the stroke with a birdie on the par 5 14th hole. He suffered a bogey on No. 15 before closing the tournament with a par to secure a top 20 finish.

Junior Turner Southey-Gordon recorded three birdies and eight pars Sunday but was also saddled by seven bogeys en route to a four-over 75 in the final round of the Irish Creek Collegiate. He closed out the event tied for 30th with a nine-over 222.

Freshman Andrew Bieber finished tied for 52nd with a 12-over 225 after shooting a four-over 75 Sunday. His round was highlighted by an eagle on the par 4 fifth hole along with three birdies, but his scoring was hindered by four bogeys over a five hole stretch on the back nine at The Club at Irish Creek.

Michael Ricaurte and Alexander Matlari finished tied for 58th and 62nd, respectively. Ricaurte, a junior from Ohio, shot a four-over 75 in the final round to finish with a 13-over 226, while Matlari concluded the tournament with a 14-over 227.
