DURHAM, N.C. – Duke faces its fifth consecutive ranked opponent Friday night in an ACC matchup with No. 12 Wake Forest at Williams Field at Jack Katz Stadium at 6 p.m. The Blue Devils will then look to stay unbeaten this season against non-conference foes with a Sunday contest against Miami at 1 p.m. Both contests will be streamed on ACC Network Extra.

• Duke holds a 40-31 advantage in the all-time series with the Demon Deacons and has claimed three of the last four meetings - each of which have been decided by one goal.
• A go-ahead goal from Robin Blazing with 2:46 remaining lifted the Blue Devils to a 2-1 victory over Wake Forest last October in Winston-Salem. Rose Tynan also had a tally in the 56th minute on an assist from Ashley Kristen.
• Wake Forest sits at 8-5 overall and 2-2 in the ACC heading into Friday night’s matchup.
• The Demon Deacons jumped three spots to No. 12 in the latest NFHCA Coaches Poll after defeating Appalachian State and Richmond last week.
• Junior forward Jule Grashoff ranks third in the ACC in goals per game (0.85) and points per game (2.46). • Goalkeeper Isla Bint enters the weekend with a 2.41 goals against average and a .677 save percentage.

• The Blue Devils and the RedHawks will meet for just the third time Sunday.
• Duke has won each of the previous two meetings between the squads, including a 3-0 result last fall in Oxford, Ohio. Rose Tynan tallied two goals and Sammi Steele and the Blue Devil defense posted its third shutout of the season in that matchup.
• Miami evened its record at 6-6 with a 2-1 victory over Longwood last Sunday.
• The RedHawks have faced one other ACC opponent this season, suffering a 4-1 setback to Wake Forest Sept. 24.
• Paula Portugal paces the attack with 24 points (9g, 6a) while Alexis Nugent has totaled 14 points (6g, 2a).
• In goal, Maddi Passarella has notched a 1.82 goals against average to go along with a .703 save percentage.

• Free parking is available in the 705 Broad Street parking lot across Broad Street from Williams Field at Jack Katz Stadium. To access the lot, please enter from Perry Street.
• Parking for persons with disabilities is available in the designated spaces in the Bivins Lot, located above the Duke Softball Stadium on Brodie Gym Drive next to the Bivins Building. The parking lot is located on the right after turning on Brodie Gym Drive. Additional parking for persons with disabilities is located in the 705 Broad Street parking lot, across the street from Williams Field at Jack Katz Stadium.

• Duke remained at No. 2 in the NFHCA Division I Coaches Poll for the fourth consecutive week and has won seven of the last eight games.
• Duke has gotten on the board first in all 10 of its victories on the season.
• Three Blue Devils rank among the top 25 players in program history in career goals - Ashley Kristen (24), Rose Tynan (22) and Alyssa Chillano (21).
• Kristen also leads all current Blue Devils in career points (70) and assists (22).
• After earning the 250th victory of her coaching career Sept. 24 against Old Dominion, Duke head coach Pam Bustin is closing in on another coaching milestone. She enters the weekend with a 91-46 ledger as the Blue Devils’ head coach.

Scherrer Strong Off the Bench
• Junior forward Erin Scherrer turned in a career-high two goals Sunday to lead Duke to a 4-2 victory over No. 23 Iowa. She put away a ball from Alyssa Chillano in the 48th minute and added a second tally later in the second half after driving around a pair of Hawkeye defenders for the score.
• The Chesapeake, Va., native has recorded five goals over the last five contests to give her seven for the season. That total ranks second on the squad.
• Scherrer registered one goal and three assists through her first two seasons at Duke.

Defense Continues to Shine
• Stingy defense has guided the Blue Devils to victories in seven of their last eight outings.
• Duke is ranked sixth nationally in goals against average (1.05) and in shutouts per game (0.42) with five shutouts on the season. Blue Devil opponents are averaging just 10.75 shots per contest.
• Redshirt sophomore Sammi Steele leads all ACC goalkeepers and ranks fourth in the country with a .794 save percentage. She also ranks third in the ACC and seventh nationally in goals against average (1.05).
• Four different Blue Devils - Alyssa Chillano, Alexa Mackintire, Stephanie Pezzuti and Jillian Wolgemuth - have recorded defensive saves on the year.

Steele Among Active Career Leaders
• Redshirt sophomore goalkeeper Sammi Steele ranks among the Division I active career leaders in her second season in the cage.
• Steele is fifth among all active Division I goalkeepers in career goals against average (1.25) and eighth in career save percentage (.755).
• The Eagleville, Pa., native also currently ranks among the top 10 in Duke’s career record book in both categories.
