Jen McCollum, a Hilo, Hawai’i native, joined the Duke athletic medicine staff in July of 1995 and serves as an assistant athletic trainer. Her primary responsibilities include working with the women's lacrosse, men's and women's cross country and women’s distance track programs. Over the years, Jen has acquired a wide range of experience and understanding of a variety sports as she has been the primary athletic trainer for ten different Blue Devil teams. She has also broadened her knowledge base by becoming Graston I & II certified.
McCollum graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with her Master of Art degree. Prior to attending UNC, Jen earned a Bachelor’s degree in liberal studies at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She has been a member of the National Athletic Trainer's Association since 1990.
