Lee Aldridge was named the Coordinator of Internet Operations for GoDuke.com in July of 2011. In his current role, Aldridge manages the day-to-day operations of Duke’s official athletic website, GoDuke.com.
During the 2008-09 academic year, Aldridge served as the Assistant Director of Internet Operations and as Duke’s head of baseball operations. His primary duties with baseball included coordinating travel arrangements, assisting with scheduling and organizing camps. He also served as camp director for the Duke Baseball Academy during the summer of 2009.
Aldridge was named the Assistant Director of Internet Operations in July of 2007 after spending two years as a Sports Information Staff Assistant. He joined the Duke Sports Information Office in August of 2005 and was the primary contact for Duke's baseball, volleyball, fencing, rowing and wrestling teams.
A native of Wingate, N.C., Aldridge has twice served as the Press Officer for USA Baseball’s 16U National Team. In August of 2009, the 16U National Team captured the gold medal at the IBAF “AA” World Youth Championship in Taichung, Taiwan. Team USA went 8-0 in the tournament and had a come-from-behind win over Cuba in the gold medal game. In August of 2007, the 16U National Team went 6-0 and captured the gold medal at the World Youth Championship in Barquisimeto, Venezuela.
Born December 29, 1981, Aldridge graduated from Wingate University in 2004 with a B.S. degree in sports management. He was a student assistant in the Sports Information Office at Wingate for two years.
During his junior year at Wingate, Aldridge served as the Public Relations Assistant with the WNBA’s Charlotte Sting. During and following his senior year, he served as the Community Relations Assistant with the Sting.
Prior to coming to Duke, Aldridge served as the Assistant Director of Media Relations for the Durham Bulls during the 2005 season.
Aldridge is married to the former Jennifer Bernhardt of Salisbury, N.C., and the couple resides in Durham with their son, Cooper, and dog, Ruby.
