Student-Athlete Development Coaching Staff
 

Shayna McGeehan joined the Duke Athletic Department in July, 2008 and serves as the Student-Athlete Development and Championships Administration Assistant.

A 2008 graduate of Duke and four-year starter on the Blue Devil field hockey team, McGeehan graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology while minoring in cultural anthropology.

A native of Grantville, Pa., she helped Duke to four NCAA Tournament appearances including a pair of national championship game berths.  McGeehan, who earned a spot on the 2008 ZAG/NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad, was a three-time All-South Region pick and three-time Academic All-ACC selection.  In addition, she was named to the 2007 ACC All-Tournament team and tabbed a Senior All-Star by the National Field Hockey Coach’s Association the same year.
