DURHAM, N.C. - Duke junior Cory Nanni has been named to the USA Track & Field U-23 National Team and will compete in the 2010 North America, Central America and Caribbean Athletic Association (NACAC) U-23 Track & Field Championships July 9-11 in Miramar, Fla.

Two athletes are selected for each event and must meet qualifications. Nanni will be competing in the 1,500 meters and had a qualification time of 4:05.90 to meet. Athletes were then chosen based upon the June 2, 2010 USATF performance rank order list.

Nanni, an All-ACC performer this past season for the Blue Devils, is coming off a 22nd place finish in the 1,500 meters at the NCAA Championships earlier this month. He will be competing in the same event at the NACAC Championships.

The men's 1,500 meters final is scheduled to begin at 6:15 p.m. on July 10.
