DURHAM, N.C. -- Head basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski met with the media in Scharf Hall on Monday for his annual summer press conference. The head coach of the 2010 National Champion Duke Blue Devils spoke about his summer plans coaching The United States Basketball Team, the upcoming college basketball season and the thrilling conclusion to Duke's 2010 season.

"I will be, in the middle of the month, in Las Vegas on the 18th of July to conduct about a one week training camp for USA Basketball," Krzyzewski said. "From that camp we will select probably 14 or 15 guys that will then come back on August 9th in New York and will practice there for five days. They are going to have a World Basketball Festival in New York."

Krzyzewski expects around 22 or 23 players to attend the USA Basketball camp in July but the total number will depend on player contracts and injuries.

"We will also have 15 to 20 collegiate players there [competing]," Krzyzewski said. "It will be the first time, and it is part of our plan for USA Basketball, to integrate all aspects of United States Basketball."
