DURHAM, N.C. - Twenty-three Duke track and field members have qualified for the NCAA First Round as announced by the NCAA Thursday afternoon.  The regional meet will be held on May 24-26 in Jacksonville, Fla.  Twelve women along with 11 men made the cut to compete in the preliminary round of the collegiate championship.

The regional competition is the final step before qualifying for the NCAA Championship meet set for June 6-9 in Des Moines, Iowa.  The qualifying Blue Devils are listed below.  To see a full list check out the following link

Justin Amezquita: pole vault
Tanner Anderson: high jump*
Michael Barbas: shot put
Curtis Beach: 800m and long jump
Andrew Brodeur: 10,000m
Austin Carpenter: Javelin
Domenick DeMatteo: 5,000m
Michael Krone: high jump*
Thomas Lang: Javelin
Morgan Pearson: 5,000m
Shaun Thompson: 3,000m steeplechase
