Heather Sample joined the Duke Athletics staff in January of 2006 as an Iron Dukes Gifts Records Specialist.

Prior to Duke, Sample worked for IBM until 2003 when she started work as a Corporate Payroll Specialist for Duke University and in January of 2006, she was hired by the Iron Dukes.

Sample is a native of Meadville, Pa.  She currently resides in Durham.
