Josh Grizzard
Graduate Assistant Coach

Josh Grizzard joined the Duke coaching staff in July of 2013 and serves as graduate assistant coach working primarily with the offensive unit. Grizzard served as a Football Operations Assistant during the 2013 season.

In 2013, the Blue Devils ranked among ACC leaders in scoring (5th; 32.8 ppg), total offense (4th; 426.1 ypg), rushing offense (5th; 178.0 ypg) and passing offense (6th; 248.1 ypg). On its way to the ACC Coastal Division championship, the 2013 Duke squad set a school record for total points (459) while becoming the first team in school history to post 25-plus rushing touchdowns and 25-plus passing touchdowns in the same season.

A native of Zebulon, N.C., Grizzard played football at Yale before graduating with a degree in political science in 2012. He went on to serve as a Team Operations Intern with the NFL’s Carolina Panthers during the organization’s training camp prior to the 2012 season.

Grizzard is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Christian studies.
