MÖNCHENGLADBACH, GERMANY – Three members of the Duke field hockey team completed pool play at the 2013 ERGO Hockey Junior World Cup Tuesday, July 30.

Redshirt sophomore goalkeeper Lauren Blazing and sophomore midfielder Aileen Johnson represented the Blue Devils on the U.S. squad. Johnson tallied a goal in the first half to give the U.S. squad a 3-0 lead over Ghana en route to a 6-0 victory. Team USA advances to the tournament quarterfinals Thursday, where it will face Argentina.

Junior forward Jessica Buttinger is representing Canada in the tournament, which dropped to 0-3 in pool play with a 6-3 loss to South Africa.
