DURHAM -- As Duke prepares for the Chick-Fil-A Bowl on New Year's Eve against Johnny Manziel and the Texas A&M Aggies, the Blue Devil Network is taking a look back at the best plays from Duke's historic 2013 football season.
Each day leading up to the game, check back with GoDuke.com for another one of the moments that helped Duke to the first 10-win season in program history, and the school's first ACC Coastal Division championship.
Play number eight takes place in Charlottesville, Va., where Duke used 35 unanswered points to come back from a 22-0 deficit and beat Virginia 35-22. With Duke trailing in the fourth quarter, quarterback Brandon Connette found tight end Braxton Deaver for a 47-yard touchdown pass on fourth and one to give the Blue Devils their first lead of the day.
Duke's defense would hold Virginia to five-straight second-half three-and-outs and the Blue Devils would go on to win its fifth game in its last six contests against the Cavaliers.
