Jordan Busse works primarily with the Sports Performance Coach and Certified Athletic Trainer in providing care for the women’s basketball team here at Duke. When not working with the basketball team he assists the athletic training staff in the Murray Athletic training room providing care for all the Olympic sport teams. Busse is a certified Myopain dry needling practitioner and also utilizes Mulligan manual techniques.
Busse earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training from Concordia University Wisconsin in 2009. During his time at Concordia he completed an athletic training student internship with the Milwaukee Bucks. He was also an athlete who while at Concordia was a member of the basketball and track & field teams.
He earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Elon University in 2012. In addition to his educational experience, Busse is also a Sports Certified Specialist and an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor as well as having received his National Athletic Trainers’ Association Board of Certification and his American Heart Association CPR/AED certification. He also serves as an active member for three Sports PT special interest groups: Collegiate and Professional Sports, The Female Athlete and Sports Certified Specialist.
