Grace Hanlon transitioned into the Facilities and Game Operations staff in August of 2018, and currently serves as an Assistant Director of Athletic Facilities, Game Operations, and Championships. Prior to her current role, Hanlon joined the Duke Athletics department in 2016 as a Resource Acquisition, Premium Services, and Hospitality Assistant, and served as an Assistant Director of Special Events in 2017.
Hanlon’s primary responsibilities include oversight of maintenance, scheduling, renovations, and upkeep of multiple athletic facilities across campus. Additionally, she serves as the softball game operations manager, women’s basketball facility manager, and football game day exterior facility manager, while providing operational assistance to men’s basketball, ACC/NCAA championships, and other Olympic sports.
A native to Chapel Hill, N.C., Hanlon graduated from Elon University in May 2016 with a degree in Sport and Event Management. While working at Duke, Hanlon completed her Master’s degree in Sport Industry Management from Georgetown University in August 2018.
