2004-05: An honorable mention All-America ... an All-ACC and All-South Region selection ... played 39 rounds, posting Duke’s second best stroke average (72.7) ... placed in the top-20 eight times, including four top-five finishes ... had 14 under-par rounds and five even-par rounds ... shot a seven-under 209 at the Landfall Tradition to finish in a second place tie ... fired a 70-70-69=209 to tie for second at the Puerto Rico Classic ... shot a 212 (70-74-68) at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate to place fifth ... tied for fourth at the ACC Championship with a 73-72-72=217 ... also finished under-par at the Coca-Cola Duke Classic and Courtyard by Marriott Intercollegiate.

SUMMER, 2004: Qualified for the U.S. Open by firing a 68 in local qualifying and carding rounds of 71 and 66 to tie for ninth at sectional qualifying... shot rounds of 73 and 76 in the U.S. Open, missing the cut ... tied for second in stroke play at the Western Amateur, firing four rounds in the 60s, and reached the quarterfinals of the match play competition ... tied for eighth place at the Sunnehanna Amateur ... reached the round of 16 at the U.S. Public Links Championship. 

2003-04: Earned third team All-America status, finishing the year with a stroke average of 72.2, second-best on the squad ... was an All-ACC selection and also earned All-South Region accolades ... posted four top-five finishes in 12 events, to go along with six top-10’s and 10 top-20’s ... carded scores of even-par or better in 21 of his 36 competitive rounds. 

SUMMER, 2003: Finished tied for third at the Santa Cruz (Calif.) City Amateur with rounds of 69-77=146 ... fired rounds of 74-66-77=217 at the Scratch Players Championship in Modesto, Calif. ... had top-10 showings at the City Am Qualifier in Morgan Hill, Calif. (71-77=148; T6th) and Public Links Qualifier in Alameda, Calif. (75-69=144; T4th).

2002-03: Played in seven tournaments ... logged a stroke average of 75.9 ... was Duke’s top performer in the NCAA Championships at 74-80-72=226 ... best showing was a tied for 23rd finish at the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship (73-71-75=219) ... had 15 of his 18 rounds count toward the team score.

Prep: 2002 graduate of Robert Louis Stevenson High School ... four-year all-league pick in golf ... led team in stroke average for four seasons ... also played baseball and basketball ... four-year member of the Honor Roll.
