  • An athletic big man with outstanding leaping ability and foot speed
  • Second on the team with a 35.0 inch vertical leap

  • Finished fifth on the team with 12 blocked shots
  • Had one steal in the first round of the NCAA Tournament against Binghamton (3/19)
  • Tallied four points, three rebounds and two blocked shots at St. John’s (2/19)
  • Scored four points on 2-of-2 shooting against Virginia (2/1) 
  • Recorded two points and one steal at No. 6 Wake Forest (1/28)
  • Tallied five rebounds and a season-high three blocked shots against Maryland (1/24)
  • Made his only field goal attempt and was 2-of-2 from the foul line for four points against No. 13 Georgetown (1/17)
  • Posted two points, two rebounds and one assist against Loyola (12/31)

  • An Asheville Citizen-Times All-Western North Carolina first team pick as a junior and senior
  • Averaged 15.8 points, 6.9 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game, while leading his team to a 34-2 record and the 2008 NCISAA state championship
  • Led the team to 14 straight victories, including a 50-41 win over Greensboro Day in state  championship game to close his high school career
  • Scored 13 points and added 18 rebounds in a 77-60 win over Cannon in the state semifinals
  • Posted 23 points and 10 rebounds in a 71-68 loss to national power Oak Hill Academy during his senior year
  • Named to the Chick-fil-A Classic All-Tournament team after averaging 18.0 point per game in three wins ... scored 16 points in 75-73 win over Pinewood Prep in the championship game
  • Led Christ School to a 29-4 record and the 2007 NCISAA state championship as a junior
  • Scored 23 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in a 53-49 win over Greensboro Day in the state championship game
  • Averaged 14.3 points and nearly 10.0 rebounds per game as the Christ School beat No. 6 Charlotte Latin,  No. 2 Charlotte Christian and No. 1 Greensboro Day to win the state championship
  • Also lettered in track as a senior
  • Posted a school record high jump of 6’9” and finished second in the state meet
  • Played at Warsaw Community High School in Warsaw, Ind. as a freshman and sophomore
  • Ranked 40th overall and 14th among power forwards by Scout.com

  • Son of Perky and Leslie Plumlee
  • Father, Perky, is a lawyer and played basketball at Tennessee Tech
  • Mother, Leslie, is a pharmacist and played basketball at Purdue
  • Has two younger brothers, Mason and Marshall, and a younger sister, Madeline
  • Marshall also attends and plays basketball at Christ School
  • Grandfather, Albert Schultz, played basketball at Michigan Tech (1944) prior to joining the U.S. Air Force ... he also played on the U.S. Air Force Service Team in 1945
  • Uncle, William Schultz, played basketball at Wisconsin-Eau Claire (1971-72) prior to being deployed to Vietnam ... 1972 NAIA National Runner-up
  • Uncle, Chad Schultz, played basketball at Wisconsin-Oshkosh from 1983-86
  • Class salutatorian in 2008 at Christ School
  • Member of the National Honor Society
  • Favorite athlete is LeBron James
  • Received the W. Fleming Talman Memorial Award for outstanding 3A/4A male athlete in a major sport in 2008
