Blue Devils To Hold Open Practice On Friday

DURHAM, N.C. - The Duke men's basketball team will hold an open practice to the public on Friday, Oct. 23, head coach Mike Krzyzewski announced. The practice is scheduled to start at 1:30 p.m. with the doors to Cameron Indoor Stadium opening at 1 p.m. 

The practice is open to all Duke University employees as well as the general public. Fans are permitted to sit in the upper level of Cameron Indoor Stadium and encouraged to enter the building from the South entrance.

The Blue Devils return four starters and nine letterwinners from a team that finished 30-7, including an 11-5 mark in the ACC, a year ago. Duke won the 2009 ACC Tournament Championship as well as the 2K Sports Classic benefiting Coaches vs. Cancer Championship and advanced to the NCAA Sweet 16.

Duke will face Pfeiffer in its first exhibition of the season on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. The Blue Devils open the regular season at home on Nov. 13 against UNC-Greensboro at 7 p.m.
