DURHAM, N.C.-Duke University freshman defender Andrew Wenger was selected to the TopDrawerSoccer.com Team of the Week after tallying an assist and a game-winning goal in the Blue Devils' two NCAA Tournament wins.

In the first round against Winthrop Wenger provided a beautiful assist to senior forward Trae Harrison to give Duke a 2-0 lead against the Eagles. Three days later at 14th-seed Michigan State, the native of Lititz, Pa., posted the game-winner off of a corner kick as Duke upset the Spartans to earn a spot in the third round.

Wenger is third on the team in points with four goals and three assists on the year and was named the ACC Freshman of the Year. He also was Duke's lone representative on the All-ACC first team.

The Blue Devils will take on Wake Forest in the third round of the NCAA Tournament on Nov. 29 at 5 p.m. Complete information about the tournament can be found by clicking here.
