DURHAM, N.C.-Duke University wrestling head coach Clar Anderson recently sat down with Scott Casber of Takedown Wrestling Media to talk about the additions to his staff in 2010 and the upcoming season.
Anderson enters his 14th season at the helm of the program. The longtime head coach welcomes back six starters from last season and brought in a host of talented newcomers for the upcoming campaign. In addition to bringing a strong group of rookies, Anderson added a pair of high quality coaches to the roster.
Glen Lanham joined the staff in August after three seasons at Purdue University. Lanham has coached at all levels and has had outstanding success on the recruiting trail. He garnered All-America honors as a student-athlete at both Oklahoma State and Tennessee and has mentored a selection of wrestlers to the NCAA Championships .
Just prior to the opening practice, former national champion Jordan Leen also became a part of the Blue Devil coaching staff. A three-time All-America, Leen brings with him recent wrestling success as well as a different perspective after spending four years with an outstanding Cornell program.
