DURHAM, N.C.-Former Duke University men's lacrosse player Jesse Fehr was drafted by the Edmonton Rush of the National Lacrosse League in the 2011 NLL Entry Draft. Fehr was the No. 20 overall pick and was Edmonton's first choice in the draft.

Fehr transferred to Duke last season for his final year of eligibility after graduating from Harvard and playing three seasons with the Crimson. The Calgary native helped lead the Blue Devil attack. He played in 11 games and earned five starts and finished the season with 10 goals and two assists for 12 points.

As a redshirt senior for the Blue Devils, he registered a career-high five goals in Duke's win over Mercer and had four points against Presbyterian. He earned a Master of Management Studies degree from Duke's Fuqua School of Business in 2011 and was named to both the All-ACC Academic Team and the ACC Academic Honor Roll.

Fehr finished his collegiate lacrosse career with 31 goals and 16 assists for 47 points.

Edmonton finished last season with a 5-11 overall record and missed the playoffs.
