DURHAM, N.C. - Duke men's lacrosse head coach John Danowski and assistant coaches Ron Caputo and Chris Gabriellie hosted the final lacrosse coaching clinic of the calendar year on Dec. 14. They covered offense, starting from individual offense and teaching dodging from all areas of the field and then progressing into group offense and ultimately overall team offense.

Below are the topics covered during the two-hour session.

Introduction and opening remarks

1- How the team finished up the semester with an annual Festivus celebration.

2 - The basics of individual offense.

3 - Dodging  from behind the goal.

4 - Dodging from the wing.

5 - Dodging from the top.

6 - Video examples of drills Duke used to teach how to dodge.

7 - Second part of offense - draw two and move the ball.

8 - Drawing two and what to do from the midfielder's perspective.

9 - Video of drills on drawing two and moving the ball.

10 - Third part of offense - off ball play.

11 - Certain things Duke teaches on offense.

12 - Video examples of drills to teach on offense and closing remarks.
