DURHAM, N.C. - Duke junior Henrique Cunha was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week for the fourth consecutive week Tuesday, as announced by the conference office. Cunha earned the weekly honor for the 12th time in his career after guiding the 10th-ranked Blue Devils to a 6-1 victory over No. 20 Tennessee in Knoxville over the weekend.

The Jaú, Brazil native has helped Duke start the spring with a 7-0 record for the program's best start since the 1954-55 season. In Saturday's road victory against the Volunteers, seventh-ranked Cunha delivered a 6-0, 7-5 win over No. 125 Mikelis Libietis at the No. 1 position for his 20th singles victory of the year. He also remained unbeaten in dual match singles play, improving to 6-0.

Cunha maintains an undefeated ledger in doubles, as he and sophomore Fred Saba moved to 4-0 on the spring at the No. 1 spot with an 8-6 win over Tennessee's 33rd-ranked tandem of Libietis and Hunter Reese.

Duke is one of 16 squads that earned a bid to the ITA National Team Indoor Championships Feb. 17-20 in Charlottesville, Va. The Blue Devils are set to face No. 8 UCLA in the opening round on Friday, Feb. 17 at 3:30 p.m.
