DURHAM, N.C. - After guiding No. 10 Duke to a pair of victories over top-10 teams during last weekend's ITA Men's National Team Indoor Championships, junior Henrique Cunha was selected the ACC Men's Tennis Player of the Week Tuesday. The accolade was the fifth straight for Cunha and the 13th of his career.

Cunha, who moved up five spots to No. 2 in the latest ITA rankings, remained unbeaten in No. 1 singles play as the Blue Devils upset No. 8 UCLA, 4-2, in the tournament's opening round and swept No. 5 Florida, 4-0, in consolation play. Duke (9-1) also suffered a 4-0 loss to top-ranked Southern California in Saturday's quarterfinals. Cunha improved to 8-0 in dual match singles play with straight-set victories over No. 39 Nick Meister of UCLA (6-2, 6-4) and No. 40 Bob van Overbeek of Florida (6-2, 6-0).

The Jaú, Brazil, native also recently entered the doubles rankings, coming in at No. 13 nationally along with sophomore Fred Saba. The duo notched an 8-3 upset of ninth-ranked Nassam Slilam and Billy Federhofer in Sunday's consolation match against the Gators to move to 5-2 on the spring from the No. 1 position and collect their third win over a ranked doubles pair this season.

The Blue Devils return to action on Saturday, March 3 at VCU.
