DURHAM, N.C. - A strong showing at last weekend's Intercollegiate Tennis Association National Men's Team Indoor Championships helped Duke move up five spots to No. 5 in the latest ITA team rankings.

The No. 5 ranking marks the highest for the Blue Devils since being listed at No. 4 in the March 8 poll last season. This year, the squad was ranked 10th in the first four ITA polls.

Duke went 2-1 against three top-10 teams over the weekend at the ITA Team Indoors to conclude the indoor portion of its season with a 9-1 record. The Blue Devils posted upsets over then-No. 8 UCLA and No. 5 Florida, while falling to top-ranked Southern California. On the season, Duke has also recorded victories against No. 32 Michigan, No. 47 VCU, No. 26 Washington, No. 19 Illinois, No. 30 Notre Dame and No. 20 Tennessee.

The Blue Devils' lineup also features two players ranked in singles in No. 2 Henrique Cunha and No. 17 Chris Mengel, while Cunha and sophomore Fred Saba comprise the 13th-ranked doubles tandem in the nation.

Duke returns to action Saturday, March 3 at No. 38 VCU.
