DURHAM, N.C. - The sixth-ranked Duke men's tennis team continues its four-match homestand this weekend as the squad prepares to host a pair of Atlantic Coast Conference opponents. The 64th-ranked Clemson Tigers travel to Durham Friday, March 30 at 3 p.m., while No. 62 Georgia Tech will face the Blue Devils at Ambler Tennis Stadium on Sunday, Apr. 1 at 12 p.m.

Duke enters the weekend with an overall record of 14-3 and a 3-1 ledger in ACC play. The Blue Devils are currently tied for second in the conference with just one loss in league play, trailing only Florida State and Virginia, who are undefeated in ACC action.

Following a narrow 4-3 loss to then-No. 3 Virginia last Friday in Durham, Duke rebounded with a 7-0 victory over Virginia Tech two days later. The Blue Devils have not dropped two consecutive matches at any point during the 2012 season. Three Duke players have registered at least 20 singles victories on the year, led junior Henrique Cunha, who is ranked sixth nationally and owns a mark of 13-2 from the top spot in the lineup. Junior Chris Mengel, tabbed No. 26 in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association singles poll, is 11-3 from the No. 2 position, while senior Torsten Wietoska also entered the rankings this week at No. 106. Sophomore Cale Hammond heads into the weekend on a four-match win streak and is unbeaten in ACC singles play at 3-0.

The Blue Devils have also fared well in doubles play lately, with two tandems undefeated in ACC action. The 26th-ranked duo of Cunha and Mengel is a perfect 4-0 in league play at the No. 1 position, while Hammond and freshman Raphael Hemmeler have won five consecutive contests in the No. 3 slot.

Clemson (8-8, 4-1 ACC) is coming off of three-straight wins against William & Mary, Maryland and Boston College. The Tigers are 3-4 on the spring in road contests and have suffered just one loss to an ACC opponent - a 4-3 decision to Florida State in Tallahassee on March 17. No. 66 Yannick Maden paces the squad with a record of 12-3 in the No. 1 singles position. Maden also comprises the 73rd-ranked doubles tandem in the nation along with Zachary Rigsby. The duo has combined for an overall mark of 9-7, including a 5-5 record in dual match play.

Winners of the last four matches between the two squads, the Blue Devils lead the overall series by a 38-28 margin. Duke claimed a 7-0 sweep in last season's meeting in Clemson, S.C.

Georgia Tech (8-7, 3-2 ACC) will face No. 24 North Carolina on Friday before taking on the Blue Devils Sunday. The Yellow Jackets have won three consecutive matches in ACC play, posting home victories against Miami, Boston College and Maryland. Eleventh-ranked Kevin King owns a record of 13-2 in No. 1 singles play and is 5-0 in conference action. King and Juan Spir, ranked seventh in the latest ITA doubles poll, are 12-2 on the year from the top spot in the doubles lineup.

The Blue Devils claimed the doubles point and won five of the six singles contests on their way to a 6-1 victory against Georgia Tech last spring in Atlanta. Duke has a 41-14 advantage in the all-time series between the two schools, and has won nine consecutive meetings.

Live scoring, live video and a live blog will be available for this weekend's matches.
