Reeves, at 6-5 and 250 pounds, was the top-rated tight end in Alabama and the No. 51 tight end in the nation as a prep star at Greensboro Public West High School in Greensboro, Ala. With a good combination of size, speed and hands, Reeves gives Duke a dynamic offensive threat at the tight end position, adding even more firepower to one of the top passing offenses in the ACC.
Reeves caught 28 passes for 356 yards and two touchdowns as a senior at Greensboro Public West on the way to all-state honors and 3A Lineman of the Year honors. In Duke’s Blue-White spring scrimmage, Reeves hauled in three passes for 49 yards.
