Duke Holds Royal Blue Event to Kick-Off Fall Season

DURHAM, N.C. - The Duke men's and women's tennis teams hosted a Royal Blue event on Saturday with members from the Royal Blue Club getting a chance to play against players on the Duke tennis teams.

In all 32 Royal Blue Club members participated at the two-hour event in Ambler Tennis Stadium.

"Today was a great opportunity for the men's and women's team members to play and mingle with the biggest fans of our programs," said head coach of the men's team Ramsey Smith. "The event was a big success, and we certainly appreciate the support of everyone involved with the Royal Blue fan club."

The Royal Blue Club is a fan club for the men's and women's tennis teams. Benefits of joining include food and beverage at home matches, match day promotions, discounted priority court time at the Sheffield Indoor Tennis Center, participation in the season finale Team Pro-Am and Duke Tennis cookout, a free Duke Tennis t-shirt and Duke Tennis wrist bands.
