DURHAM -- The Duke football team arrived in Charlotte Saturday to begin its Charlotte-based preparations for the Belk Bowl on December 27.
The Duke players, staff and administrators arrived throughout the day and spent the afternoon getting settled into their homes away from home in the Queen City.
After grabbing their room keys and unpacking their bags, a number of players spent the afternoon trying on their new Belk Bowl gear or enjoing the players lounge - an up-fitted ball room that featured, among other things, an air hockey table, a pool table, and several arcade games.
When he wasn't beating fellow wide receiver Jamison Crowder on the air hockey table, the Blue Devil Network had a chance to speak with senor Desmond Scott about the excitement of starting Bowl Week. You can hear his perspective on Saturday's events by watching our Arrival Day feature.
As the week progresses, check in with GoDuke.com and the Blue Devil Network to get an exclusive, inside look at the team's Bowl Week experience.
