CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- As part of one of the most unique gift suites at any FBS bowl, the Duke football team went on a shopping spree at the Southpark Mall Belk to select their own bowl gifts for the Belk Bowl.

Every member of the team received a gift card, courtesy of Belk, and was allowed to peruse all four floors of Belk's marquee store in Charlotte. From men's and women's clothing and shoes to jewelry and housewares, the Blue Devils shopped for themselves, family members and, in the case of several Blue Devils, for Durham families in need.

Blue Devil Network was on the scene to check out the purchases and for whom the players were shopping. While some players shopped for items on their own wish list, others picked out presents for their parents and siblings and an admirable few came armed with a list of gift requests from families in need. Duke will visit the Levine Children's Hospital on Monday morning and will hold its second practice of the week later in the afternoon.
