DURHAM, N.C. - Duke forward Mason Plumlee was named ACC Player of the Week for the second time this season after leading Duke to a pair of ACC wins over N.C. State and Boston College.

A 6-11 senior from Warsaw, Ind., Plumlee averaged 24.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.0 blocks for the week as Duke took down N.C. State 98-85 at home and Boston College 62-61 on the road. Against N.C. State on Thursday, Plumlee scored 30 points - his second 30-point game of the season - while grabbing nine rebounds and blocking two shots. Against Boston College on Sunday, he scored 19 points with 11 rebounds while hitting the tying and go-ahead free throws in the final minute of the game.

Plumlee took 26 foul shots in the two-game span, hitting 19 for a .731 shooting percentage from the line. He set season highs in both free throws made (12) and attempted (16) against N.C. State and followed by shooting 7-of-10 from the line against Boston College. Against the Eagles, Plumlee grabbed offensive rebounds on Duke's final two possessions, was fouled on both and then hit three of his final four foul shots to help Duke erase a 61-59 deficit.

A frontrunner for ACC and National Player of the Year accolades, Plumlee is averaging 18.2 points, 10.7 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.7 blocks per game this season. He is shooting 61.0 percent from the field and is one of only 15 players in the country averaging a double-double.

Plumlee's ACC Player of the Week award is the fifth this season by a Duke player, the program's most since the 2009-10 season. Four different Blue Devils have been named ACC Player of the Week this season.

Up next for Plumlee and the Blue Devils is the first edition of the Duke-North Carolina rivalry, which will take place in Cameron Indoor Stadium this Wednesday, Feb. 13, at 9 p.m.
