Samaritans Feet
Head coach Glen Lanham and the Blue Devils will be teaming up with the Samaritans Feet humanitarian organization to raise money to purchase shoes for those impoverished in the United States and around the world. Lanham will coach barefoot to help raise awareness for the organization. It will be the first of three Duke athletics events this week that will promote Samaritans Feet. Duke students can donate at each event simply by swiping their ID card, while fans can donate $10, which equals a pair of new shoes. All proceeds go directly to Samaritans Feet.
