DURHAM -- The Duke football team kicked off the 2013 spring practice session on Monday and addressed the media following the completion of the first practice. In attendance at the media luncheon were redshirt senior defensive end Kenny Anunike, redshirt junior quarterback Anthony Boone, redshirt senior cornerback Ross Cockrell, sophomore kicker Ross Martin, redshirt senior offensive tackle Perry Simmons and redshirt junior running back Josh Snead.
Led by head coach David Cutcliffe in his sixth season at Duke, the Blue Devils return 16 starters – nine on offense, five on defense and two on special teams – from a team that went 6-7 and earned a berth in the Belk Bowl in 2012. The bowl game was Duke’s first since the 1994 season.
